Vehicles production in Taiwan decreases in 2017

Vehicle production diminished by 5.8 percent in comparison to the previous year, new statistics from OICA display. Vehicle production went down from 309 522 in 2016 to 291 563 prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 11.84%. The overall changes for the prior 21 years reached a decline of 23.49%. As well as it has attained a drop at a 0.03% average annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 334 809.33 from 1997 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 446 345 in 2005 and record low of 182 974 in 2008.
