Import of benzoyl peroxide and benzoyl chloride to Philippines increases in 2017

According to adjusted figures announced by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison to 2016 the variable climbed sharply by 59.23%. Petrochemical intermediates import rose strongly from 246 014 kilogram in 2016 to 391 736.34 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 5.43 percent. Philippines saw a growth of 49.7% in petrochemical intermediates import over the past 22 years. Furthermore, it has attained a 0.1% CAGR during the five years with a negligible overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 305 238.33 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 210 374 kilogram in 2000 and record low of 116 595 kilogram in 2005.
