Chromium chemicals imports in United States: Increase in 2017

U.S. Geological Survey announced that in 2017 chromium import slightly increased by 1.77 percent. Chromium import went up barely from 6 200 metric ton to 6 310 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 1.81 percent. The overall changes for the previous 20 years attained a drop of 30.43%. Furthermore, it has had a raise at a 0.01 percent CAGR during the five years with a negligible overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 9 353.5 metric ton from 1998 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 18 000 metric ton in 2008 and record low of 4 270 metric ton in 2011.
