Import of not sorted used or new rags textile material to Armenia goes down in 2017

In comparison with the prior year clothing import dropped strongly by 53.4 percent, according to data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Clothing import greatly diminished from 60 851 US Dollar to 28 354 US Dollar, compared with the previous year when it rose by 68.05%. Armenia saw a decline of 7.22% in clothing import during the last 21 years. Furthermore, it has shown a decrease at a 0.26 percent compound annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 36 795.48 US Dollar from 1997 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 127 890 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 379 US Dollar in 2003.
