Import of derivatives of acyclic alcohols to Peru drops in 2016

In comparison to one year earlier organic chemicals import fell greatly by 65.97 percent, according to numbers issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable sharply decreased from 10 174 kilogram in 2015 to 3 462 kilogram previous year, in comparison with the prior year when it grew by 53.52%. Peru saw an increase of 312.63% in organic chemicals import during the last 25 years. Though, it has shown a decline at a 0.22% average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the 1992. It averaged 11 653.44 kilogram from 1992 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 96 226 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 81 kilogram in 1998.
