Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres packaged for retail sale to Ireland declines in 2017

According to statistics issued by European Commission, in 2017 yarn import diminished greatly by 60.87%. Yarn import strongly went down by 1 400 kilogram, versus the prior year when it climbed by 2 200 percent. Ireland saw a fall of 65.38% in yarn import over the past 10 years. Likewise, it has had a growth at a 1.08 percent compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a modest overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 590 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 2 600 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 100 kilogram in 2015.
