Import of boring-milling machines for removing metal not numerically controlled to Sri Lanka: Increase in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that industrial equipment import strongly grew by 427.53 percent in comparison with the prior year. The indicator went up greatly by 260 269.88 US Dollar, in comparison to the previous year when it decreased by 23.62%. The overall changes for the prior 28 years reached an increase of 593.01%. However, it has shown a diminution at a 0.04 percent compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 103 462.67 US Dollar from 1990 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 384 089 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 26 529 US Dollar in 1994.
