Export of hooks, eyes, eyelets, for clothing, footwear, bags of base metal from Costa Rica: Increase in 2016

According to revised statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office, consumer goods export sharply increased by 216.16 percent in comparison to the year before. The variable greatly climbed by 214 kilogram, contrarily to the prior year when it declined by 85.57 percent. Costa Rica saw a rise of 3 377.78% in consumer goods export during the last 23 years. Furthermore, it has had a growth at a 0.57 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 2 510.43 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 22 361 kilogram in 1997 and record low of 1 kilogram in 1995.
