Import of cyanides and cyanide oxides of metals except sodium to Brazil: Rise in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office published that the indicator increased by 28.15% in 2016. Cyanides import rose by 48 601 kilogram, in comparison with the prior year when it went down by 58.35%. Brazil saw a growth of 85.09% in cyanides import over the past 28 years. However, it has had a decrease at a 0.17% compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall increase since the 1989. It averaged 275 208 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 625 328 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 376 kilogram in 1993.
