Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Italy goes down in 2017

Antibiotic import declined by 6.33 percent in comparison to one year earlier, according to numbers presented by European Commission. Antibiotic import fell by 802 880 Euro, contrarily to the prior year when it increased by 30.48 percent. Italy saw a diminution of 88.28% in antibiotic import during the last 23 years. Furthermore, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.06% over the last five years with a modest overall drop since the 1995. It averaged 55 680 737.04 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 121 275 584 Euro in 1997 and record low of 1 860 570 Euro in 2014.
