Sales of vegetable textile fibres, processed but not spun in Lithuania decreases in 2016

In 2016 textile fiber sales declined by 6.38%, according to data published by European Commission. The indicator went down by 664.15 thousand kilograms, versus the previous year when it climbed by 14.93 percent. Lithuania saw a increase of 87.92% in textile fiber sales over the past 9 years. As well as it has attained a raise at a 0.07% compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 7 766.6 thousand kilograms from 2008 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 10 416.64 thousand kilograms in 2015 and record low of 2 514.45 thousand kilograms in 2009.
