Import of crude coconut (copra) oil to Sri Lanka: Raise in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that compared to the year before coconut oil import strongly grew by 181.33 percent. The variable sharply rose from 2 046 966 US Dollar to 5 758 702 US Dollar, contrarily to the prior year when it dropped by 52.2%. Sri Lanka saw a rise of 2 616.88% in coconut oil import over the past 24 years. Furthermore, it has had the CAGR of 0.22 percent during the 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 1 449 671.79 US Dollar from 1994 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 7 609 593 US Dollar in 2003 and record low of 184 186 US Dollar in 2005.
