Crude oil production in Indonesia grows in May 2018

The variable slightly grew by 3.71 percent compared with the previous month, adjusted data from JODI Data reveal. Crude oil production increased barely by 864.9 thousand barrels, versus the prior month when it declined by 3.71 percent. The same month in 2017, the indicator climbed by 2.57 percent and hit 24 908.44 thousand barrels. When examining the year-on-year picture, a -3.04 percent fall can be noticed between May 2017 and the same month one year later. Indonesia saw a drop of 28.31% in crude oil production over the past 16 years. In comparison with its average, the crude oil production is now smaller as the mean equals 25 860.13 thousand barrels with a modest overall decline since the start of time series. It reached its all-time high of 37 541 thousand barrels in March 2003 and record low of 21 430.86 thousand barrels in February 2015.
