Import of corrugated paper and paperboard to Georgia goes down in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that compared with the previous year paper import decreased by 24.33 percent. The indicator went down by 367 729.38 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 0.5%. Georgia saw a raise of 43.18% in paper import during the last 22 years. However, it has shown a decline at a 0.1% compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a negligible overall increase since the 1996. It averaged 976 982.07 US Dollar from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 2 393 080 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 24 430 US Dollar in 2004.
