Export of nails and staples of iron or steel, not office stationary from Guyana declines in 2016

Metal products export greatly decreased by 73.39% in comparison to the prior year, revised figures from United Nations Statistical Office constitute. Metal products export went down strongly from 72 704 kilogram in 2015 to 19 346 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 30.63 percent. Guyana saw a diminution of 74.29% in metal products export over the past 18 years. Furthermore, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.05% over the 5 years with a negligible overall fall since the 1999. It averaged 69 606.72 kilogram from 1999 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 399 843 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 426 kilogram in 2010.
