Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Ireland rises in 2017

Horses import greatly climbed by 47.41 percent in comparison with the same time an year ago, revised statistics from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. It's new all-time high since 1992 as horses import increased sharply from 42 453 128 US Dollar to 62 581 712 US Dollar, contrarily to the previous year when it declined by 16.21 percent. Ireland saw a raise of 1 825.37% in horses import over the past 26 years. Likewise, it has shown a 0.03% compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a negligible overall increase since the 1992. It averaged 17 444 393.83 US Dollar from 1992 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 1 185 230 US Dollar in 2009.
