New vehicles registrations in Costa Rica decreases in 2017

OICA published that vehicle registration diminished by 13.53% in 2017. The indicator declined by 8 116, contrarily to the previous year when it increased by 13.64 percent. Costa Rica saw a raise of 224.28% in vehicle registration over the past 13 years. Moreover, it has shown an increase at a 0.07% average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a slight overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 32 729.54 from 2005 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 60 000 in 2016 and record low of 16 000 in 2005.
