Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Luxemburg: Growth in 2016

According to new numbers published by European Commission, antibiotic import rose sharply by 227.35 percent compared to the prior year. Antibiotic import strongly went up by 18 620 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it diminished by 12.5%. The overall changes for the prior 17 years hit a fall of 23.38%. Furthermore, it has had a 0.13% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 28 133.53 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 99 040 Euro in 2010 and record low of 760 Euro in 2003.
