Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Denmark increases in 2017

In comparison to the prior year the variable rose strongly by 241.63%, according to updated figures issued by European Commission. Antibiotic import greatly grew from 1 113 510 Euro to 3 804 090 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 307.67%. It's the highest number in its history since 1995. Denmark saw an increase of 339.63% in antibiotic import over the past 23 years. Likewise, it has shown a 1.91 percent compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 724 651.3 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 18 130 Euro in 2013.
