Import of medicaments of other antibiotics not packaged for retail sale to Denmark: Rise in 2016

Antibiotic import sharply climbed by 307.67% compared with the prior year, refreshed data from European Commission reveal. The variable increased greatly from 273 140 Euro in 2015 to 1 113 510 Euro previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it decreased by 4.1%. The overall changes for the previous 17 years reached a growth of 76.87%. Furthermore, it has had a 0.39 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a slight overall drop since the 2000. It averaged 457 237.06 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 1 568 790 Euro in 2005 and record low of 18 130 Euro in 2013.
