Buses and coaches production in India drops in 2017

The variable decreased by 18.77 percent in comparison to the previous year, according to statistics presented by OICA. The indicator went down by 9 794, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 1.95 percent. India saw a raise of 47.73% in bus production over the past 18 years. Though, it has had a diminution at a 0.01% compound annual growth rate during the five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 35 736.89 from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 58 227 in 2006 and record low of 28 696 in 2000.
