Import of salted, dried or smoked swine hams and shoulders to Bosnia and Herzegovina goes up in 2017

According to statistics published by United Nations Statistical Office, pork import went up by 27.96% compared with the prior year. The indicator grew from 25 940 kilogram in 2016 to 33 192 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 11.98%. Bosnia and Herzegovina saw a diminution of 74.38% in pork import over the past 15 years. Besides, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.06 percent during the last 5 years with a slight overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 92 069.87 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 239 358 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 21 529 kilogram in 2014.
