Import of homogenised jams, jellies to India: Diminution in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that confectionary import strongly fell by 55.57 percent in comparison to the previous year. The variable greatly decreased by 715 474.94 US Dollar, compared with the prior year when it climbed by 531.77%. India saw a rise of 2 618.99% in confectionary import during the last 21 years. Moreover, it has had a growth at a 0.21% CAGR over the 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 229 761.34 US Dollar from 1997 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 287 469 US Dollar in 2016 and record low of 15 952 US Dollar in 2000.
