Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Guatemala: Decrease in 2016

In 2016 horses import went down greatly by 35.16%, refreshed statistics from United Nations Statistical Office show. Horses import strongly declined from 594 038 US Dollar to 385 189 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 25.75 percent. The overall changes for the previous 24 years reached an increase of 201.1%. However, it has shown a decrease at a 0.07% CAGR over the last five years with a marginal overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 270 159.75 US Dollar from 1993 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 800 064 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 29 000 US Dollar in 1994.
