Fuel oil demand in Kuwait: Diminution in May 2018

According to data presented by JODI Data, fuel oil demand hardly diminished by 0.08 percent in May 2018. The indicator negligibly decreased by 3 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it went down by 1.6%. When considering the previous year, it can be reported that the variable was increasing by 6.34 percent and attained 3 286 thousand barrels in May. Year-on-year, this indicates a 10.38 percent shift between May 2017 and the same month one year later. Kuwait saw a rise of 98.31% in fuel oil demand over the past 16 years. Compared with its average, the fuel oil demand is now lower as the mean equals 3 651.77 thousand barrels with a moderate overall diminution since the 2002. It reached its all-time high of 8 220 thousand barrels in November 2011 and record low of 1 200 thousand barrels in June 2002.
