Import of petroleum bitumen to Uganda: Decline in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that petroleum bitumen import strongly decreased by 70.65% in comparison with the previous year. The indicator sharply fell by 14 556 400 kilogram, compared with the prior year when it climbed by 265.88 percent. The overall changes for the previous 23 years hit a raise of 7.57%. Likewise, it has shown the compound annual growth rate of 0.01 percent during the last 5 years with a modest overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 4 347 976.57 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 20 604 704 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 657 885 kilogram in 2000.
