Coffee imports in United States: Rise in 2017

According to numbers announced by U.S. Department of Agriculture, in comparison with the previous year coffee imports barely rose by 1.1 percent. It's new all-time maximum since 1910 as the variable slightly increased from 3 688.19 million pounds (mass) to 3 728.87 million pounds (mass), as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 1.12 percent. The overall changes for the prior 108 years reached an increase of 366.11%. Furthermore, it has had a 0.01 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a negligible overall raise since the 1910. It averaged 2 384.79 million pounds (mass) from 1910 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 799 million pounds (mass) in 1911.
