Import of signals for rail, tram, water-way and port to South Africa: Rise in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that the indicator increased greatly by 99.91% in 2017. Railway equipment import sharply climbed by 2 532 487.5 US Dollar, compared to the prior year when it diminished by 3.8 percent. South Africa saw a rise of 378.83% in railway equipment import during the last 18 years. Besides, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.06% during the five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 3 696 913.03 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 18 271 172 US Dollar in 2010 and record low of 297 409 US Dollar in 2003.
