Import of methionine to Europe: Growth in 2017

Organic chemicals import increased by 10.73 percent in 2017, new numbers from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. The indicator grew by 3 423 700 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 43.5 percent. Europe saw a growth of 21.52% in organic chemicals import during the last 18 years. Moreover, it has shown the average annual growth rate of 0.06% during the 5 years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 25 901 680.44 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 42 737 092 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 18 024 536 kilogram in 2007.
