Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Brazil rises in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that compared to the year before the variable rose strongly by 31.9%. Horses import grew sharply from 15 500 kilogram to 20 445 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it diminished by 62.01 percent. Brazil saw a diminution of 88.41% in horses import during the last 29 years. Likewise, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.31% over the last 5 years with a negligible overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 111 307.38 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 638 562 kilogram in 1991 and record low of 15 500 kilogram in 2016.
