Coal imports in China: Stagnancy in 2017

The indicator did not change in comparison with the prior year, revised numbers from China National Statistical Office show. The same as it has been for the last 2 year, the variable hasn't changed at 25 543 ten thousand metric ton. China saw an increase of 11 948.58% in coal import over the past 18 years. Though, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.05% during the 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 12 963.64 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 32 702 ten thousand metric ton in 2013 and record low of 212 ten thousand metric ton in 2000.
