Import of frozen, dried, salted or in brine cuttlefish and squid to Antigua and Barbuda: Drop in 2016

Compared with the prior year cuttlefish import declined sharply by 81.94 percent, according to figures released by United Nations Statistical Office. Cuttlefish import greatly fell by 12 181 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 33.1 percent. Antigua and Barbuda saw an increase of 454.75% in cuttlefish import during the last 18 years. Though, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.34 percent during the last 5 years with a modest overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 12 878.22 kilogram from 1999 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 35 857 kilogram in 2009 and record low of 86 kilogram in 2000.
