Export of logs and poles of coniferous wood not treated or painted from Europe: Rise in 2017

Wood product export greatly went up by 31.66% in comparison to the prior year, according to adjusted statistics published by United Nations Statistical Office. Wood product export climbed sharply by 44 691 616 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 23.31%. Europe saw an increase of 91.16% in wood product export over the past 18 years. Though, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.08% over the last five years with a modest overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 163 043 119.56 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 275 333 600 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 88 448 280 US Dollar in 2002.
