Fuel oil demand in Romania goes down in June 2018

Fuel oil demand sharply went down by 37.5% in comparison with May 2018, according to statistics presented by JODI Data. Fuel oil demand dropped greatly by 19.35 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it declined by 11.11%. The previous year, the variable was decreasing by -65.96 percent and reached 103.2 thousand barrels in June 2017. Between June 2017 and the same month one year later, the numbers highlight a -68.75% shift. Romania saw a diminution of 98.29% in fuel oil demand during the last 15 years. Furthermore, the fuel oil demand is now below average of 415.78 thousand barrels with a marginal overall drop since the start of observations. It hit its all-time high of 2 444.55 thousand barrels in March 2003 and record low of 6.45 thousand barrels in June 2010.
