Export of ski footwear with uppers of leather from Croatia falls in 2016

Footwear export declined greatly by 49.11 percent in 2016, according to refreshed statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator went down sharply by 11 438 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it went up by 99.53%. Croatia saw a decline of 1.23% in footwear export during the last 24 years. Moreover, it has attained a fall at a 0.15 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 4 164.58 kilogram from 1993 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 23 291 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 11 kilogram in 2005.
