Import of rum and tafia to Peru: Rise in 2016

The variable increased greatly by 31.08 percent compared with the prior year, new data from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. Rum import went up sharply from 2 272 575 kilogram in 2015 to 2 978 805 kilogram previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it dropped by 2.46%. The overall changes for the previous 25 years attained a raise of 238.94%. Likewise, it has attained a 0.11 percent compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 1 782 161.72 kilogram from 1992 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 3 819 509 kilogram in 1995 and record low of 859 951 kilogram in 2003.
