According to numbers published by European Commission, compared with the same time an year ago flax yarn import grew by 25%. The variable increased by 100 kilogram, in comparison to the previous year when it decreased by 69.23%. Hungary saw a fall of 16.67% in flax yarn import during the last 12 years. Besides, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.15% over the 5 years with a modest overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 1 375 kilogram from 2006 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 5 600 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 400 kilogram in 2016.
