Import of prepared or preserved herrings to Sri Lanka: Drop in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that the indicator diminished by 14.27% in comparison to the year before. Import of prepared or preserved herrings went down from 956 kilogram in 2016 to 819.6 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it increased by 8.76%. The overall changes for the previous 28 years attained a decline of 99.24%. Furthermore, it has attained a decrease at a 0.13 percent CAGR over the five years with a slight overall diminution since the 1990. It averaged 9 173.27 kilogram from 1990 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 112 771 kilogram in 1999 and record low of 298 kilogram in 2005.
