Refined oil products refinery output in Iran declines in April 2018

The indicator negligibly went down by 0.06% in comparison with March 2018, according to refreshed figures issued by JODI Data. The variable decreased hardly by 1 thousand barrels per day, contrarily to the prior month when it climbed by 0.36%. When taking into account the prior year, it can be noted that the indicator was growing by 6.06 percent and reached 1 715 thousand barrels per day in April. Between April 2017 and the same month the year after, the statistics pinpoint a -1.52 percent variation. Iran saw a growth of 24.19% in refined oil products production over the past 16 years. Likewise, the refined oil products production is now above average of 1 484.96 thousand barrels per day with a sharp overall raise since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 1 896 thousand barrels per day in July 2013 and record low of 1 008 thousand barrels per day in December 2002.
