Import of medicaments of alkaloids or derivatives thereof not packaged for retail sale to European Union: Decrease in 2016

According to revised numbers published by European Commission, compared with the previous year the indicator fell by 6.36%. Alkaloid import diminished from 13 019 960 Euro in 2015 to 12 192 420 Euro prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it rose by 103.43 percent. The overall changes for the prior 14 years attained a fall of 49.82%. Furthermore, it has had a decrease at a 0.04 percent compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 16 170 255 Euro from 2003 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 28 616 260 Euro in 2005 and record low of 6 400 280 Euro in 2014.
