Re-import of lumber of coniferous (softwood) wood to Canada: Decrease in 2016

According to numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office, compared with the prior year the indicator decreased barely by 4.23 percent. Wood product import fell hardly by 8 024 cubic meter, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it declined by 5.48%. The overall changes for the prior 14 years attained a rise of 1 038.1%. Likewise, it has shown a growth at a 0.11 percent compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 95 972.21 cubic meter from 2003 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 200 835 cubic meter in 2014 and record low of 15 975 cubic meter in 2003.
