Re-export of sanitary towels and tampons, napkins and napkin liners for babies from Hong Kong: Diminution in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that in 2017 consumer goods export hardly went down by 4.17%. The indicator fell negligibly from 6 287 620 kilogram to 6 025 498 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 19.3%. Hong Kong saw an increase of 21.95% in consumer goods export over the past 18 years. However, it has shown a decrease at a 0.05% compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a negligible overall growth since the 2000. It averaged 3 993 287.61 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 7 921 761 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 1 390 964 kilogram in 2007.
