Fuel oil import in Portugal rises in May 2018

JODI Data announced that in May 2018 fuel oil import rose sharply by 290.91%. The variable increased strongly by 32 thousand tonnes, in comparison to the prior month when it decreased by 60.71%. The same month in 2017, the indicator dropped by -68.42 percent and attained 12 thousand tonnes. Between May 2017 and May 2018, the numbers reveal a 258.33% variation. Portugal saw a drop of 79.33% in fuel oil import during the last 16 years. As well as the fuel oil import is now below average of 48.5 thousand tonnes with a overall diminution since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 344 thousand tonnes in July 2002 and record low of 5 thousand tonnes in October 2014.
