Fuel oil import in Portugal: Decrease in June 2018

In comparison with May 2018 fuel oil import declined sharply by 72.09%, new data from JODI Data highlight. Fuel oil import strongly decreased by 31 thousand tonnes, compared with the previous month when it grew by 290.91%. The same month in 2017, the indicator climbed by 133.33 percent and hit 28 thousand tonnes. Between June 2017 and June 2018, the numbers constitute a -57.14 percent change. The overall changes for the prior 16 years reached a decline of 94.23%. Likewise, the fuel oil import is now below average of 48.31 thousand tonnes with a overall fall since the start of time series. It attained its all-time high of 344 thousand tonnes in July 2002 and record low of 5 thousand tonnes in October 2014.
