New vehicles registrations in Ghana goes down in 2017

According to refreshed data issued by OICA, the indicator dropped greatly by 43.01 percent compared to the prior year. It's the lowest record ever observed since 2005 as vehicle registration fell sharply from 7 400 to 4 217, versus the previous year when it rose by 54.17%. Ghana saw a fall of 6.29% in vehicle registration during the last 13 years. Likewise, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.21 percent over the last five years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 7 585.92 from 2005 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 14 500 in 2012.
