Production of silver in semi-manufactured forms in Italy declines in 2017

Compared to the previous year silver production dropped by 27.42%, adjusted data from European Commission highlight. Silver production decreased by 157 571 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 22.46%. It's the lowest number ever reported since 1996. Italy saw a fall of 28.56% in silver production over the past 22 years. Besides, it has attained a diminution at a 0.18 percent CAGR over the last five years with a marginal overall drop since the 1996. It averaged 1 440 079.09 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 6 530 813 kilogram in 2006.
