Export of sacks and bags of jute or of other textile bast fibres from Iceland: Increase in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that sacks export rose sharply by 360.55% compared to the prior year. The indicator climbed greatly from 1 024 kilogram to 4 716 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it dropped by 31.73 percent. The overall changes for the prior 13 years hit a rise of 4 036.84%. Moreover, it has shown a raise at a 0.46 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a slight overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 2 841.08 kilogram from 2005 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 14 213 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 114 kilogram in 2005.
