Disease incidence rates of measles in China: Diminution in 2016

In 2016 disease incidence rates of measles sharply declined by 41.8 percent, refreshed figures from China National Statistical Office indicate. The variable dropped greatly from 3.11 per hundred thousand in 2015 to 1.81 per hundred thousand prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 19.85%. China saw a drop of 76.15% in disease incidence rates of measles over the past 27 years. Furthermore, it has attained the CAGR of 0.32 percent during the five years with a overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 4.91 per hundred thousand from 1990 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 12.07 per hundred thousand in 1992 and record low of 0.46 per hundred thousand in 2012.
