Naphtha export in Canada grows in June 2018

Naphtha export increased sharply by 70 percent compared to the previous month, according to data presented by JODI Data. The indicator grew greatly by 119 thousand barrels, in contrast to the prior month when it diminished by 70.59%. The same month one year earlier, the variable declined by -37.14 percent and hit 187 thousand barrels. In short, the indicator was 54.55 percent higher in June 2017 than in the same month in 2018. The overall changes for the previous 9 years reached an increase of 580%. Furthermore, the naphtha export is now smaller than its average which equals 367.74 thousand barrels with a strong overall raise since the start of time series. It attained its all-time high of 1 428 thousand barrels in April 2010 and record low of 25.5 thousand barrels in April 2009.
