Export of veneer or ply sheet of coniferous (softwood) wood from Belgium goes down in 2017

The indicator went down by 26.78 percent compared with the same time an year ago, according to updated numbers published by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable diminished by 209 745 US Dollar, contrarily to the previous year when it went up by 40.19%. Belgium saw a decline of 80.58% in wood product export during the last 19 years. As well as it has shown a diminution at a 0.03% compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a negligible overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 2 564 854.16 US Dollar from 1999 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 14 306 413 US Dollar in 2003 and record low of 200 652 US Dollar in 2009.
