Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to India goes down in 2017

Compared with the prior year the indicator dropped by 15.05 percent, revised data from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. Horses import diminished by 14, compared to the previous year when it increased by 78.85%. The overall changes for the prior 30 years attained an increase of 1 028.57%. Likewise, it has shown a rise at a 0.09% average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a strong overall growth since the 1988. It averaged 26.8 from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 222 in 2004 and record low of 1 in 2006.
