Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to India: Decrease in 2017

Horses import diminished by 15.05 percent in comparison to the previous year, refreshed numbers from United Nations Statistical Office show. The indicator dropped by 14, compared to the prior year when it rose by 78.85 percent. India saw a raise of 1 028.57% in horses import over the past 30 years. Besides, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.09 percent over the five years with a sharp overall rise since the 1988. It averaged 26.8 from 1988 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 222 in 2004 and record low of 1 in 2006.
