Export of furniture parts from Jamaica: Increase in 2017

The indicator went up sharply by 6 035% in 2017, according to statistics released by United Nations Statistical Office. Consumer goods export strongly rose by 1 207 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it fell by 81.82%. Jamaica saw a decline of 97.89% in consumer goods export over the past 27 years. Likewise, it has attained the CAGR of 0.77 percent over the last five years with a slight overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 9 152.26 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 58 043 kilogram in 1991 and record low of 8 kilogram in 2008.
